Grand Theft Auto 5 (also known as GTA V)

For Weeks. Months. Years. The wait is coming to an end for one of the most anticipated and exciting games of all time. Since the series first arrival in 1997, there has been no other game that has been extremified more than this. III...alright, Vice City...getting there, IV...BEAST mode, but this, will top all of those put together (iv'e deliberately not included San Andreas as SA is in a league of its own as it takes gaming to a whole new level). And now as we are just a few more months away from its release on 17th September on PS3 and Xbox (PC and Wii U TBA), the excitement, is beginning to become harder and harder to hold in. Some of us cannot wait any longer...but it will come soon.

Rockstar Games still hasn't released any gameplay of the upcoming game but we've already been told enough. 3 playable Protagonist characters; Michael, a retired bank robber in his 40's with a wife and 2 kids, Trevor, an ex-militant and pilot whose good friends with Michael also in his 40's (truss me, he seems like a bit of a maniac in the trailers!) and Franklin, a young Afro-American car salesman and street hustler in his 20's, Michael is said to be a 'father figure' towards him (he looks like he will be my favourite as he reminds me of Cj). Each character is said to have their own story however, each storyline seems to be connected to one an other making one absolutely HUMONGOUS storyline.

But the one thing which i'm really buzzed up about are the things that you will be able to do. This will be the start of a new era in which free-roaming will be taken to another level.

Of course you hear people going on about the map size that it will be set out like 'Google Earth' style and it will be bigger than Gta IV, Gta San Andreas and Red Dead Redemption put together but in all honesty, after playing Just Cause 2, i'd say there currently isn't a free-roaming map which is comparable to that size, right now. So the news of the size of Gta V's map is just music to my ears!

The things that you will be able to do in that game will be astonishing. Practically a virtual world inside a video-game. Dan Houser, one of the main creators of Rockstar Games such as the Red Dead series or Max Payne, has said that you will be able to do all of the things that you could probably do in  previous GTA games, and more such as; triathlons, yoga, base jumping, tennis and even scuba-diving! Plus, there will be all sorts of vehicles you can drive aswell like ATV's or Planes or even Jet-Skis...yes, that is what I just said and i'll say it again, JET-SKIS!!!

So in all honesty, the positively DELUDED excitement that I possess right now is unbelievable. When this game comes out I WONT BE GOING OUT ANYWHERE as I believe Rockstar will produce a masterpiece.
